Description

This hands-on art class invites adults of all experience levels to explore autumn as a source of visual inspiration through mixed media.  We will use printmaking to generate multiple ideas and warm up.  Then choose a piece to work more in depth with painting, drawing and collage.  You may choose to explore a seasonal theme such as change, cycles, or harvest.  Or simply embrace the color pallet of fall.  Experiment with a variety of techniques to create a layered, expressive artwork.  Emphasis is placed on curiosity, process and personal interpretation rather than technical perfection.  No prior experience required.  Materials provided.  Optional to bring something to share.
