Embrace being the lifetime learner that you are by leaning into something new.  Observe closely with calm focus.  This easy, satisfying way to strengthen eye-hand coordinations was developed by Grandma Layton, a pioneer in the field of art therapy for seniors.  IIt's a gentle, beginner friendly class with the potential to challenge advanced artists well.  We will follow what we see, not what we think we are drawing.  We'll explore blind contour drawing (without looking at the paper) and continuous-line contour (drawing with steady unbroken line).  The goal isn't perfection-it's presence with the pleasure of mark making.  Leave with a small collection of drawings and a simple practice you can continue at home.
