As I thought about what to share today, I simply wanted to call your attention to the myriad of learning opportunities that exist in today's 'new' world. With Zoom now being a household name, there is no shortage of opportunities for business owners and employees at all levels to find educational opportunities to further their careers (or personal interests for that matter). At the Chamber we probably have 25-50 webinars, seminars, trainings, online book clubs and chats that are offered to us each week. Some are great. Others not so much. But nonetheless, the opportunity for us to get better at what we do (running events, marketing your business, etc.) is there. 

We love to share these opportunities with the business community (and residents), because we know that you too are looking for high-quality, impactful training that can ultimately improve your bottom line. Today I encourage you to share with me the type of learning opportunities you might be looking for, so that we can share those resources with you. From Johnson County Community College to obscure, online social media companies with thousands of devoted fans, there is literally a training or educational opportunity for everyone.

And for those of you that missed it, last week the Chamber hosted one of those learning opportunities right here on Zoom. Ed Roche (Strategy) and Aaron Fulk (Lillian James Creative) spent time with us talking about how to get your business in front of people and sell more (think content creation). We're lucky to have such well-regarded business leaders like the two of them give their time to helping you grow their business. I encourage you to watch the recorded conversation and hopefully you too will get some nuggets of info that you can use.
