Mixed Media Art Inspired by the Seaso...
Fall is a season of change, texture and rich color-perfect fuel for creative exploration. In this mixed media class, teens will use autumn as inspiration to experiment with layering, mark making, and expressive imagery. Using a combination of line techniques, print making, collage elements and found objects, students will explore how different materials interact to create depth and mood. Our process can be intuitive while learning how to build a cohesive composition through color, contrast and repetition. Natural forms, seasonal symbols and personal interpretations of fall will guide each piece. Art will reflect both outer and inner landscapes. No prior mixed media experience needed. This class emphasizes curiosity, confidence and creativity.
